Dr Preethi has completed her postgraduation from AJ Institute of Medical Sciences Mangalore. She has worked as an Assistant Professor for 3 years in SUIMS Shimoga . She persued her Medical Retina and Uvea fellowship from Vittala International Institute of Ophthalmology Bangalore.

Her special interest is in Management of Diabetic retinopathy and Age related macular degeneration. She is a member of Karnataka Ophthalmic Society, All India Ophthalmological Society and Uveitis Society of India.
