Dr. Michelle Menezes completed her basic medical education from Dr.D.Y.Patil Medical College, Pune and subsequently her postgraduation -Diplomate Of National Board (DNB) from H.V.Desai Eye Hospital, Pune. She then went on to complete her R.G.U.H.S long term Fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery from Narayana Nethralaya Bangalore .She also completed Phacoemulsification Surgery Training at Nandadeep Eye Hospital ,Sangli.
Her areas of expertise include the management of various corneal conditions like microbial keratitis, dry eye, ocular surface disorders, allergic eye disease, keratoconus, corneal dystrophies, open globe injuries, chemical injuries and surgeries such as cataract surgery, penetrating and lamellar keratoplasty , collagen cross linking, pterygium, LASIK and PRK.
