Dr Deepika John is a cataract and glaucoma surgeon with over 10yrs of experience in the field of ophthalmology .she graduated from JJM medical college , Davangere and further pursued her post graduation from Christian medical college , vellore (CMC Vellore) under Tamil Nadu Dr MGR medical university.
She did her fellowship in glaucoma from Nethradhama super speciality Eye hospital , Bangalore .She has worked as a clinical associate in Singapore national eye Center ( SNEC) and Changi general hospital , Singapore .she is also a member of Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
